Not cut and has not played. Likely he will get some action during the remaining home games. It may be a scenario like Chris Kelly where he stays and practices with the team into regular season and potentially will get a contract after that

Solid so far, could push for a 13th forward spot. Not a flashy player but good defensively and makes the simple smart play.

How Khaira doesn't get PP time is lost on me. All he's done since making the team was simple, effective plays (both little and big) that contribute positively to the team's success. By any reasonable assessment, you'd think he'd be the coach's favourite instead of Caggiula.

Despite the save percentage, I'm not sure I can blame him for any goal aside from the 1st one. Two off 2-on-1s, one off a 5-on-3 and another from a garbage defensive breakdown. I think they need to give him a shot behind a closer approximation of an NHL roster.

I've liked Benning, Yamamoto, Brodziak and the whole Puljujarvi line while Kassian, Jerabek, Garrison and especially Malone have been bad.

I realize that he was paired with lesser line mates tonight but if he’s destined to ride shot gun with Drai on our second line then I would expect a little more offensive flair.

I wouldn't worry about Reider just yet.

I agree my only worry is the price we paid for him might make TM feel obligated to play him a few times and we get buried because of it. He has shown 0 reasons why he deserves 2.5 M as a backup. I'd rather have LB back and use that money elsewhere. I haven't seen even a glimpse of a capable goalie yet.
